Support for SME’s Broadcast Advertising Revitalization (50% cost support for advertising material production)

A support project for SME’s broadcast advertising revitalization has been implemented since 2015 to partially fund the production cost of excellent SMEs unable to place broadcast advertising due to cost burden despite their wish. Consequently, SMEs can now create and place advertisements at a reduced cost. It is hoped that broadcast advertising can contribute substantially to enhancing SME’s marketing capabilities and sales growth.

2018: applications will be received in February (Tentatively in June in the event of an additional recruitment)

Synopsis of the Support Project for SME’s Broadcast Advertising Revitalization (production cost)

  • Project Objective and Details :

    • To support the advertising production cost for SMEs unable to utilize broadcast advertising due to the high production cost despite owning first-rate technology, and thereby boost SMEs’ growth and set off a virtuous growth cycle between the broadcast advertising market and SMEs
  • Station Break Ad (SB):

    • Funding production of TV broadcast advertising materials
    • Funding production of radio broadcast advertising materials (select one)
  • Station Break Ad (SB):

  • Eligibility: SMEs meeting both of the following conditions:

    • 1) SMEs that obtained at least one of the following certificates (valid as of the application deadline)
    • Venture, Inno-Biz, Main Biz, Green Certified SME, Excellent Green-Biz, Global IP (Intellectual Property) Star Enterprise, Intellectual Property Management Certified Enterprise, Social Enterprise and K-Brain Power
    • 2) SMEs without any record of advertisement placement with terrestrial (nationwide) TV and general service broadcasters within the past year from the application deadline

  • Funding Conditions for Broadcast Advertising Production

    • Companies selected as beneficiaries through screening among applicants
    • After selection, the company concludes a project implementation agreement with KOBACO

[Main Details of the Agreement]

  • Completion of broadcast advertising material production within 4 months since agreement execution; and subscription and payment application within 1 month since production completion

  • Broadcast advertising subscription: minimum 50% or higher of funding application amount

  • Production cost verification: After verifying the broadcast advertisement and production cost details, payment is made

  • Submission of the registration content certificate of reviewed material for broadcast advertisement

  • Application Period
    • Feb. 5 to 18:00, Feb. 14 (tentative)

  • Application Method: online application
